Oops!

Well, I wasn't going to announce it until everything was final, but we're in the process of switching over to a self-hosted website. This week I got serious about finishing up with it, and last night I hit the button to migrate all our old posts to the new site. Somehow because of that, emails were apparently sent to anyone who subscribes to our blog ... ONE FOR EACH AND EVERY POST WE'VE PUBLISHED HERE. Egads!!!

Wasn't me!!
As you know, you can't very well retract emails that have already been received. So I was stuck last night, fretting about how I'd been so awfully rude to have bombarded inboxes with all our previous posts. Lord knows if there were even the most remote chance of being able to do so -- I'd have never gone to sleep last night, I'd have been pulling back all those obnoxious emails.

With any luck, most of them were deemed spam by the email providers and never cluttered up inboxes. That at least would be more manageable. Regardless of which part of your email system they landed in, I apologize profusely to all our wonderful, so-very-well-loved subscribers. I don't know why it did that, and I'll probably never be able to figure it out. A techie I am not!

So now the cat's out of the bag....we're moving to a new site, one with an easier address. "CindyLusMuse.com" will hopefully be up and running soon. No promises, though, as you can tell - I'm not the most adept at this website stuff!

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and worn-out finger from having to click on that "delete" so many times!!

We'll catch ya over on the new site soon. 'Til then, have a great weekend!

Is It Okay If My Dog Eats Grass

Ever since we moved to our new neighborhood, CindyLu has been munching away on the grass during our walks. This is not something she regularly did where we used to live. Over time I've noticed - and discussed with neighbors - the irresistible attraction the grass here seems to have for our dogs. Cindylu is definitely not the only dog dining on the green! This has made me wonder, why the grass here? Why are all the dogs so attracted to this grass? And....Is it safe to allow them to continue eating it?

In Black and White: Searching

Searching is half the fun; life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.
