Blue Buffalo is a company that we already trust here in our home, as it's one of the foods we feed our cats. Dog treats that are natural, healthy, contain no fillers and are made in the US sound like a great product - but ultimately it won't matter if they don't taste good.
So we tested Blue Buffalo's Wilderness Trails Chicken Jerky here with both CindyLu and Chester. Chester, who has food allergies, reacts like one of Pavlov's dogs; he now starts drooling just from the sight of one of these treats. And CindyLu rates them high enough for the Treat Dance, something she reserves for only The Best. (Big apologies, the photos of her are nothing but blurs!)

I want my dogs to try these treats because they are safely made in the USA. The FDA has warned everyone about treats made in China.
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about this brand but have never had the chance to try it. As long as it's safely made in the USA, this would be a good opportunity to test out the brand.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try it with Charlie as a good dog treat for hiking the appalachian trail would be great, and I just switched him to blue buffalo, so i already know he's a fan! The more natural the better, and jerky is something that can be broken up and given in various sizes!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with 8 King Charles Cavaliers,a Yorkie & a senior cat...Blue Buffalo Wilderness is served & gobbled up daily! I know not only the amount of money I have invested in each of our dogs, but that the majority of my heart & life is owned by them also...so why would I take a chance with a product that is sold with profits vs. my pet's health in mind? A pet's longevity is not fair to any human that loves them...so I will do all I can to continue researching products & companies whose goal is to give me & my pet health, love & memories each day to be treasured for a life time. ReplyDeleteWe have never tried Blue Buffalo's Wilderness Trails Chicken Jerky. I do not buy anything from China. I make my own chicken jerky but would love to try Blue Buffalo's Wilderness Trails Chicken Jerky for Schooner and Skipper.

I've heard a lot of good things about Blue Buffalo before. My dog would love to have some jerky! She'd probably gulp them right down. Excellent giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWe used to feed our dogs Blue Buffalo kibble, but we haven't tried their jerky treats. I'll have to check them out, because our dogs love these, but I stopped buying them when the recalls started up again. It's so hard to find treats that are made in the US so I just gave up looking.

My dog love chicken jerky but you often can't be sure if any of the ingredients come from China so I don't usually buy them but we would love a chance to try some that I know come from the US.

love the fact that made in usa, and not in china(where they don't have as strick of policy as to what goes in they treats they make).

ReplyDeleteIf I had a dog, I would give them a try. Right now, I'm giving my cats a higher quality grade of cat food they really seem to like. For Christmas, they got a big stocking full of toys- safe and catnip free. I usually make my own toys for them, but I thought I'd splurge this Christmas.

Bella goes bonkers for these treats, downright obnoxious, actually. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe break them up into pea-sized pieces and use them in her agility class. We can get her to do just about anything for them.
(We're not entering the contest but wish everyone good luck - they will be winning a real treat.)

Quality product and safe for the dogs or our family members to munch on. Made in USA with no chinese meat so they will be the best for my pets to try.
